  • Non Uniform Day tomorrow Friday 14th February

    Published 13/02/20

    Dear Parents/Carers,

The theme for Children's Mental Health Week this year is 'Find Your Brave.' The School Council have therefore organised a Hero non-uniform day for tomorrow Friday 14th February. Children are invited to come to school dressed as their hero. This could be a superhero, a family member, someone famous such as a sports star or singer or even a profession such as doctor, fire fighter or teacher! We are asking for donations of 50p which will be donated to MIND, the mental health charity. There will be opportunities for children to make parts of their costumes at lunchtimes next week, and as always we ask that they get creative and use anything they may already have at home rather than spending lots of money! Thank you

  • Donations needed!!

    Published 13/02/20

    Dear Parents/Carers,

One of our very own Curwen Reception children Aleeza, is getting her haircut. For her 5th birthday she will be getting her very first hair cut! This is an extra special haircut because she will be donating her long beautiful hair to The Little Princess Trust to help create real wigs for little boys and girls. The Little Princess Trust is a charity who provides free real hair wigs for children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other conditions. Please join us in supporting Aleeza with this great cause by donating via her JustGiving page. It cost £550 to create just 1 wig, that’s 1 smile on a little face.… so every penny counts! Just visit her JustGiving page below to help raise her target. www.justgiving.com/Aleeza-vhora

Thank you in advance for your support
