Celebrating a world of foods at Curwen!!

Over sixty parents took part in the savoury and sweet categories in this year’s Parent Food Competition. This set the path for a competitive afternoon challenging the judges in selecting the top three winners. Presentation and overall taste were what the judges were looking for this year.

The winners are:

Sweet

1st Place = Megdouda (Youcef's mum 4G) with a Raspberry Pistachio cake from Algeria

2nd Place = Fatema (Rabab's mum 2L) with Coconut Laddu from Bangladesh

3rd Place = Amie-Louise (Liam's mum 4O) with Vegan Banana Bread from St Lucia

Savoury

1st Place = Farzana (Ariana's mum PM Nursery) with Pulao & Matar Paneer from South Asia

2nd Place = Laddawan (Lynne's mum 4O) with Pineapple Fried Rice from Thailand

3rd Place = Archana (Shreyan's mum 5C) with Meat Biryani & Pulao Roast from Bangladesh
