Curwen travelled to Memorial Park on Wednesday 26^th June to compete at the Boys Football Kickabout Festival. 

There were 7 schools and 100 boys involved in the festival with Curwen bringing two teams of Year 3 boys. Both teams played exceptionally well, displaying fantastic teamwork as well as scoring some eye-catching goals. Their incredible performances led to a 1^st and 4^th placed finish. This was a remarkable achievement considering they were playing against older children for the majority of their games.

It was a pleasure to see all the boys having fun and playing football with so much passion and enjoyment.
