Curwen selected a team of 9 Year 5 children and travelled to UEL SportsDock to compete at the TTLT Basketball Festival on Friday 17th May.

There were 9 schools and over 100 children participating at the festival with Curwen being placed alongside Ranelagh, Selwyn, Kaizen and Park in Group 1. The team played exceptionally well throughout the competition demonstrating fantastic team work as well as their own individual basketball skills to finish their first 3 matches unbeaten. This meant the final game against Selwyn would decide the winner of the Festival and Curwen again showed their class winning by two clear baskets to lift yet another trophy and ensure the children went home with gold medals.

Well done to these children who represented the school amazingly: Ayoub (5C), Jasmine (5C), Ghian (5CB), Chanel (5CB), Melvyn (5CB), Hocine (5CB), Eli (5T), Amelia (5T) and Herbert (5T).
