On Friday 2nd February eight year 4 children were selected to represent Curwen at a Badminton
Festival at Lister community school.  
There were 8 schools and over 70 children competing at the festival with Curwen taking part in a
carousel of activities which were run by the sports leaders at Lister. The children thoroughly enjoyed
badminton golf where they recorded a record amount of points using their high level of technique
and accuracy to score points in all the targets. Hopefully this will encourage them to continue
thriving within badminton.
