What a year it’s been! First of all, I’d like to congratulate all the children for all their hard work and dedication this term. SATs have finally come and gone, with the children performing wonderfully well and tackled any hurdles they encountered with maturity and a positive outlook.

As a reward, Year 6 went on a number of trips to celebrate their achievements throughout the year. These included: an amazing day out at Legoland, a delicious celebration meal at Nandos and a visit to a scientific extravaganza at the Olympic Park.

As well as all this, the children have also created leavers videos using an innovative app (Animoto) on the iPads, they explored the history and geography of the Vikings, whilst also delving into the world of abstract art through the paintings of Pablo Picasso.
