EYFS Summer Concert

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) celebrated the children's own pride in their achievements gained throughout the academic year through a mixture of different arts and performances in our EYFS Summer concert. It is always a special event for early years and one the staff, children and parents remember for a long time. The scenery and hard work which goes into the performance is all worth it when everyone sees all children contribute to the show.

The children were able to express how proud they were of themselves and their friends, through a mixture of songs, dances, a poem, a fashion show and gymnastics! There was a display of athleticism through gymnastics, a fashion show derived from the children's own design and creativity and a display of the hugely popular Reception carnival dance which they learnt for International week. Nursery children were able to impress the audience with their mixture of songs based on their termly topic "Animals", they took us on a journey from deep down in the jungle through to the saluting penguins of the Antarctic!

All in all the children were certainly confident and proud to entertain the audience to deliver an amazing performance! You can clearly see how much self-confidence and self-belief they have in themselves. The concert marks the end of a very eventful and successful year for Nursery and Reception, in knowing that the children are prepared for the next stage in their education. We would like to wish them all well.

Thank you to all the parents/carers for your support and commitment without you the staff and children would not be able to achieve all that they have done over the last year.

Have a restful and relaxing summer holidays.
