In July, the school choir took part in an amazing concert at the Hackney Empire.

This iconic venue made a truly spectacular platform for our wonderful singers, who joined together with choirs from Ranelagh, St Helen's, Star, St Joachim's and Britannia Village to create an all singing, all dancing celebration. This concert strengthened links within the Tapscott Learning Trust.  The aptly named concert "A Better World" featured a range of songs including Happy, Heal the World and One Love.

“I just want to say how amazing all the children performed this evening at the Hackney Empire. It was such a delight to see months of their hard work pay off. A special thank you to all the teachers that were involved as well. I hope this is an initiative that Curwen will continue to partake in for years to come, it really was a splendid evening.” - School governor
