School council recently visited the Houses of Parliament to further our knowledge and understanding of Democracy in action. This offered us a unique combination of one thousand years of history, modern day politics and stunning art and architecture.

Unfortunately we were unable to enter the House of Commons or House of Lords, due to security checks; however, we thoroughly enjoyed our tour and took part in an interesting workshop about voting and elections.
